Spirit of Play is a band with a fondness for vocal harmonies, foolish lyrics and joy-inducing beats. The band mysteriously came into being in the middle of 2008, after a long period of idle talk and ineffectual body language. Like snowflakes, no two SOP songs are the same, and many are quite different even from themselves.

Spirit of Play features in this year's geekpop festival: geekpop.co.uk. Have a taste of SOP here. Visit the band at My Space.

Local talent:

We are pleased to welcome back

Chynna Maxius and Yolanta Boti

(Performing Arts students from Plumstead Manor School 6th-Form who will sing during the first set.)
